Welcome to the ultimate summer adventure! Wilson County 4-H invites youth to join us for a summer packed with exciting hands-on activities, new friendships, and unforgettable experiences. All camps are hosted at or depart from the Wilson County Agricultural Center. Please be sure to read our pamphlet below!
Registration & Important Policies
How to Secure Your Child's Spot
- Check Eligibility: Age requirements are based on the camper's age as of January 1, 2026. (Children who turned 5 after January 1, 2026, are not eligible).
- Create/Update Profile: You must have an active account on 4HOnline2.0 with each youth added to your family profile.
- Submit the Form: Complete the online registration form at https://go.ncsu.edu/wilsonsummerfun26.
- Make Payment: Payments cannot be made online. Bring exact cash or a check (payable to Wilson County 4-H) to the Wilson County Agricultural Center. Spots are only held once payment is received in full.

Camp Descriptions
Clover Buds On the Go! (Ages 5–8) - FULL
- Date: June 15–19 | Price: $150
- Designed specifically for our youngest campers. This week combines creative play, hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and fun local field trips. Please pack a bagged lunch.
STEM Camp (Ages 9–11)
- Date: June 22–23 | Price: $50
- A fast-paced, 2-day tech adventure! Campers will dive into the worlds of robotics, coding, and drone technology to build teamwork and critical problem-solving skills. Please pack a bagged lunch.
The Buzz Zone (Ages 9–11)
- Date: June 24–25 | Price: $35
- Partnering with the Wilson Beekeepers, this camp uncovers the sweet world of honeybees. Expect interactive beekeeping activities, education, and fresh honey tastings. Please pack a bagged lunch.
Fire House Heroes (Ages 9–11)
- Date: June 29–30 | Price: $30
- Hosted in collaboration with the Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department. Campers will experience fire safety protocols, proper extinguisher use, and real station drills. Lunch is generously provided by the fire department.
Fantasy Lake Water Park (Ages 12–15)
- Date: July 1 | Price: $65
- Note: Signed liability waiver required.
- Beat the heat at Fantasy Lake Adventure Park in Wake Forest! Campers will spend the day climbing giant inflatables, conquering floating obstacle courses, and zooming down massive waterslides. Please pack a bagged lunch.
The Fishin Mission (Ages 9–11)
- Date: July 6 | Price: $25
- Head out to a local pond with the Soil & Water Conservation staff alongside Ms. Samantha Gay from the Fishers of Anglers Academy. Learn proper baiting, tackle setups, and casting techniques. Please pack a bagged lunch.
Friends Day Out (Ages 9–11)
- Date: July 7 | Price: $80
- Note: Signed liability waiver required.
- A high-energy road trip to Winterville, NC! Jump on massive indoor trampolines and play tactical laser tag at Sawyer's Fun Park, enjoy lunch at Sawyer’s Cafe, and wind down with a swim session at the YMCA.
Farm to Fork (Ages 9–11)
- Date: July 8–10 | Price: $100
- Trace the vital journey of food from the soil straight to your plate! This camp features interactive farm tours, essential nutrition deep-dives, and hands-on kitchen training where youth will prepare their own wholesome lunches.
Culture Quest (Ages 9–11)
- Date: July 13–17 | Price: $175
- Grab your passport to explore five different countries over five days. Every day brings immersive cultural history lessons, native crafting sessions, and a lunch outing to an authentic local restaurant (included in registration fee).
4-H Mystery Files (Ages 9–11)
- Date: July 20–24 | Price: $60
- Step into the shoes of a junior detective! Spend the week decoding cryptic messages, tracking down elusive clues, and working as a team to cracks the cases. Please pack a bagged lunch.
The Cookie Lab (Ages 9–11)
- Date: July 27–28 | Price: $50
- Team up with the culinary pros at "Big Boys Bakery"! Young bakers will pick up foundational kitchen safety, explore recipe science, and bake up delicious batches of custom cookies.
Friends, Facials & Fun (Ages 9–11)
- Date: August 3–5 | Price: $150
- A relaxing, positive three days dedicated to friendship and healthy self-care habits. Campers learn age-appropriate skincare tips, practice mini spa routines, and tackle fun lifestyle crafts. Lunch is included.
End of Summer Camp Celebration (Open to All Participants!)
- Date: August 7 | Time: 6 PM – 8 PM | Price: Free
- We are closing out an amazing season with all our camp families! Join us at the Ag Center for a community cookout filled with backyard games, great music, and our annual summer camp award ceremony. Come ready to celebrate the milestones and memories made!
