The Wilson Botanical Gardens (WBG) are located on the property surrounding the Wilson County Extension Center, 1806 Goldsboro St SW, Wilson, NC 27893. The 16-acre gardens were designed to showcase the diversity of plant material that can be used in the home landscape, and to educate and entertain visitors with youth and adult programs. It includes an extensive tree collection, turf grass demonstration plots, perennial beds, a children's garden, a STEM garden, and an exhibit of native plants.
The gardens are maintained year round by the Extension Master Gardeners of Wilson County. A variety of educational gardening events and activities are held at the WBG throughout the year.
