Kitchen Technologies Workshop: Getting Meals on the Table
Are you a busy person who wants to minimize your time standing over a stove and prepare more meals at home for your family? Maximize your time (and nutrition) by learning how kitchen technologies can help you get more meals on the table, in less time.
This 2-hour workshop will give participants hands-on experience using kitchen technologies, such as an air fryer, electric pressure cooker (commonly referred to as an “InstantPot”), and slow cooker, to help get balanced meals on the table quickly. Learn how to save time and money by eating more meals planned and prepared at home.
We will discuss how to use these technologies and food safety measures to remember when using these tools. Participants will get hands-on experience using these tools as they prepare healthy recipes. A recipe tasting will take place at the conclusion of the workshop.
This workshop will take place at the Wilson Ag Center (1806 Goldsboro St. SW, Wilson) on April 30, 2020, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Space is limited! There is a $15 registration fee in order to attend. Fees help to cover the cost of equipment & ingredients. Register online!
