Cooking Under Pressure

What is Cooking Under Pressure?

If you are contemplating an electric pressure cooker, or if you recently received one but don’t know how to use it, this workshop is for you! Cooking Under Pressure is designed to help get dinner on the table with the goal of healthier meals for your family. This class will help you learn to use an electric pressure cooker/multi-series cooker. Participants will learn food safety, nutrition, recipe resources, and how to use the cooker through preparation of pressure cooker recipes. This is a hands-on workshop, and there will be a tasting at the conclusion of the workshop.

Cooking Under Pressure will be held September 10th, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. in the Wilson Ag Center Demonstration Kitchen. Pre-registration is required by September 6th by 5 p.m.

Registration

Registration is $15 per participant and pre-registration is required by September 6th, 2019, at 5 p.m. Email Cassidy Hall at cdhobbs3@ncsu.edu or call 252-237-0111 to register. Space is limited to 12 participants. Class will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Wilson Ag Center in the Demonstration Kitchen. Please drop off or mail your $15 registration fee to the Wilson Agriculture Center (1806 Goldsboro St SW, Wilson). You will not be registered until your registration fee is received.
