Collapse ▲Wilson County Pesticide Disposal Day–March 16th (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) at the Wilson County Agricultural Center.
Do you have old unused pesticides that you want to dispose of?
The Wilson County Agricultural Center will offer collection on March 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This service is provided through the Pesticide Disposal Assistance Program (PDAP) with NCDA. This is the only day of the year that we will dispose of pesticides.
The PDAP Program cannot accept anything larger than a 5-gallon bucket at the Agricultural Center that day. Anything larger than that (Mini-bulk, Shuttles, etc.) or unlabeled containers will need to be handled by appointment with the PDAP personnel. Contact Jessica Manning if this fits your inventory at (252) 237-0111 or jessica_manning@ncsu.edu.
This event is primarily for farmers, homeowners, customers of pesticide dealers, small landscape business, golf courses, etc.
Make sure to take all safety precautions when transporting or handling pesticides with proper personnel protective equipment.
