If you hold a private applicator’s license and your license expires this year (2021), you can renew your license with recertification training.

In order for you to renew your license, you must receive a total of four (4) hours of recertification training before September 30, 2021. You must receive two (2) hours of training in the V subclass and two (2) hours in the X subclass.

On Wednesday, September 29, there will be a private pesticide applicators recertification training for subclass V and subclass X. The subclass V meeting will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. and the subclass X training will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. 

Both training sessions will be held in the N.C. Cooperative Extension, McDowell County Center Room, 2nd floor, County Administration Building, 60 East Court Street, Marion. 

By attending both training sessions, you will receive the two (2) hours of “V” training and two (2) hours of “X” training credits you need to renew your private applicator’s license.

Please call the office at 828-652-8104 to register. You should bring your pesticide licensing card in order to receive credits.
