Bags of Hope for Cancer Patients: 4-H Service Project

— Written By

Have you ever known someone affected by cancer? Most of us have.

No act of kindness however small is ever wasted. --Aesop

Our 2020 County 4-H Council has chosen to put together bags for patients receiving chemotherapy or radiation treatment in our local area.

We are simply asking for members to collect $20 donations from friends, family, and businesses to purchase the bags and supplies to go in them. Such supplies are listed on the flyer.

Sometimes, all someone needs is small gift to cheer them up. Help us reach our goal of 200 bags! When someone gives you a donation, please write their information on the form attached below. The deadline to turn in all money and forms to the 4-H office is April 30 (although you can turn it in as you collect it).

For questions, please contact Jessica Manning, Wilson County 4-H Agent, at or (252) 237-0113.
